In 2024 he released his debut single ‘Dreams’, an easy-going pop song about acceptance and aspiration. Following that was ‘The Half a Song Blues’, a foot-stomping anthem for writer’s block. Having assembled the Waxwings earlier this year, he released ‘Spot In A Blue Sky’, bringing his thumping new band to the forefront in the accompanying music video filmed at Weston-super-Mare’s Blakehay Theatre.

He’s also released a barebones acoustic EP “The Living Room Sessions”, which features seven solo recordings of his songs. ‘Where The River Flows’ is a homesick ode to his small town roots, while ‘What’s Life Without Colour?’ celebrates his partner and her oil pastels.

Longhorn has supported artists including Gary Stringer (Reef), Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), and The Hoosiers. He’s performed Glastonbury Festival, as well as iconic Bristol venues such as The Exchange, The Fleece and Thekla, and extended his fanbase with trips to folk clubs as far as London. All the while, he’s entertained crowds at regular independent markets across the South-West, steadily building a following from stage to street and back again.
