BIO
Born and raised by the muddy British seaside, Seb Longhorn from Weston-super-Mare marries folk sensibilities with contrarian indie-rock arrangements, creating a sound that’s earnest yet full of left turns…
It’s been a busy 14 months for the singer-songwriter. He’s released two singles, ‘Dreams’ and ‘The Half a Song Blues’; the former an easy-going pop song about acceptance and aspiration, and the latter a twisty but foot-stomping anthem for writer’s block. He’s also released an acoustic EP “The Living Room Sessions”, which features seven solo recordings of his songs. ‘Where The River Flows’ is a homesick ode to his small town roots, while ‘What’s Life Without Colour?’ celebrates his partner and her oil pastels.
Last year, Longhorn supported Gary Stringer (from Reef) at The Tree House in Frome, after being spotted while performing at Glastonbury Festival. Having moved to the musically steeped city of Bristol in 2024, he’s since played many of its iconic venues with his 4-piece band, including The Fleece, The Exchange and Mr. Wolfs. All the while, he’s entertained crowds at regular independent markets across the South-West, steadily building a following from stage to street and back again.
